PRACTICING TRADITION
I enjoyed working in the store with Aunt Emily and Grandpa this past weekend. I had a great time talking to all the tourists when they came by looking for Grandpa. Grandpa is a celebrity! He is so good at talking to the tourists and answering their questions about how he made his figurines. We practically sold out of everything. Grandpa keeps pretty busy these days carving. I am also practicing my carving so I can carry on the tradition like he wants us to. After Auntie Em showed us again how the remote data backup works for her business, we all went back to home to Grandma’s dinner. I love my family! There is always something exciting going on. Uncle Jack is starting to build a new house and is all excited about it. We can tell even though it’s not that he jumps up and down or smiles a lot. He is too quiet for that. We know he is starting a new house because he says “well, I’m off to the races again.” He then goes and sits in front of the TV and starts drawing on page after page of his notebook. It is really fun.
